Oct. 23, 2026 · Benton County Jail records50 people are in the county jail on Siloam Springs police arrests. It is a small city, so that is the highest jail rate of the three Benton County cities we have counted.
Siloam Springs doesn't publish a monthly crime report the way Fayetteville does. So we counted what the public Benton County jail roster shows: 50 people in custody on Siloam Springs police arrests as of October 23.
Of those, 2 are held on rape or sexual assault charges and 4 on aggravated assault. Another 7 are held on assault and battery, and 4 of those are domestic. There is 1 murder charge. Nobody on this list is held on a robbery, burglary or auto theft charge.
Size matters here. Siloam Springs has about 21,000 people. Bentonville has about 63,000 and Rogers about 77,000. On the same Oct. 23 roster, Bentonville had 88 people in custody and Rogers 142. Per 1,000 residents, that works out to 2.3 for Siloam Springs, 1.8 for Rogers and 1.4 for Bentonville.

50 Siloam Springs PD arrests on file, Oct. 23How to read these numbers
These count people still in custody on Siloam Springs police arrests, not incidents reported in a month. They are not the same kind of number as Fayetteville's, so do not set the two side by side.
Small numbers swing fast. A few people either way changes the picture, and this is one day's roster. The people held are not necessarily people who live in Siloam Springs.
The jail roster does show when each person was booked: 10 of these 50 were booked so far in October and 9 in September. Older months look smaller because people booked then are more likely to be released already, so this is not a month-by-month trend.
One person can be charged with more than one thing, so a person can show up in more than one row. A murder entry can be a pending warrant the jail is holding the person on. People who were arrested and have already been released are not counted, so these are a floor, not the full picture.
An arrest is an accusation. It is not a conviction.
